Organic Food Lowers Blood and Breast Cancer Risk, Study Shows

Eating only organic food could slash cancer risk, especially for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and postmenopausal breast cancer. The benefit was far greater for obese people.


Organic food standards do not allow the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and genetically modified organisms and are therefore less likely to contain pesticide residues than conventional food.
